Martin Sarmiento

Martin Sarmiento

My name is Martin Sarmiento, and I’ve devoted more than 7 years to studying Psychological Astrology in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’m driven to continue my studies for many more years, considering myself an eternal student, always seeking to learn.

In addition to my astrological studies, I’ve pursued various courses in Jungian psychology, the human energetic system (chakras), Kabbalah, Tarot, and Yoga.

Expanding my knowledge, I have a strong passion for teachings from diverse schools of thought that explore consciousness. Figures like Castaneda, Gurdjieff, Krishnamurti, Frankl, Fromm, Wilber, and others are integral to my ongoing reference library.

As a natural seeker, I am deeply committed to service and possess a profound attentiveness to the needs of others. My main goal with astrology is to utilize it as a tool, channeling my abilities to aid those genuinely seeking guidance during difficult times.

I have a daughter and a son, aged 11 and 9 respectively. Through parenthood, I have encountered the complex dimension involved in raising a human being. My children have been the driving force for me to take charge in life, face challenges, and work on my personal and familial shadows.

The approach to astrology has changed my life, as it has allowed me to look at my history through different lenses and gain a broader understanding of my children and my relationship with my partner.

Today, with all the experience gained from personal work, I have clarity about my purpose: to serve as a beacon of hope for those navigating the labyrinth of life. My mission is to empower others to lead lives filled with meaning and connection, both with themselves and their loved ones.

I have always been a very observant person, with listening skills and a keen curiosity about humanity’s issues. Naturally, since I was young, I have found myself attracting people, both close to me and not, and receiving the problems and situations they needed to share.

Over the years, I realized that it’s not so much about giving advice but rather allowing people, through listening, to find solutions to their problems within themselves.

When I started working with Astrology, I found myself in the challenging task of finding a precise way to share with my clients what I saw in their natal chart, while still maintaining an attitude of receptive listening.

My way of working is always seeking a middle ground between the information provided by the natal chart and the resonance it generates in the client. My intention is to personalize each session according to the client’s personality and needs. The natal chart provides a lot of information, but it’s useless if it can’t be communicated effectively. At the same time, it’s not just about teaching what is seen in the chart but also being receptive to what each client wants to share.

Finally, when communicating astrological knowledge, I try to do it in layers, often repeating concepts to instill them, as astrology is very complex and needs to be approached gradually to avoid overwhelming. My intention is to translate astrological knowledge into an accessible language with concrete examples to facilitate understanding.
